Exotic Stones From Royale Impex Take Center Stage in Luxurious Borivali Home

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 21: A stunning new home in Borivali West is serving as an example of how design can change a space. Created by Studio Namah, “The Marble Marvel” is a luxurious haven that reflects the homeowner’s love for natural stones and a space that exudes glamour.

The homeowner’s fascination with exotic stones became the central theme of the project. Studio Namah embraced this inspiration, using a variety of colourful and textured stones from the Royale and Earth collection of Royale Impex throughout the 200-square-meter space. This resulted in a visually eye-pleasing home aptly named “The Marble Marvel.”

Translating a Personality into a Home

The homeowner is a diamond merchant and appreciates the beauty of natural stones. Hence they have incorporated exotic natural stones from Royale Impex in their home.

Royale Impex has been a trustworthy name in the marble industry for more than 25 years. In their factory is Silvassa they have more than 300+ varieties of colours in natural stones from 25+ countries across the globe. They specialize in exotic natural stones and stunning white marble.

“The centrepiece of the décor is made up entirely of exotic stones, each one thoughtfully chosen for its own colour and design,” says Namrataa Shetty (Studio Namah),  “Walls in key areas, like the living and dining spaces, are adorned in stunning marble from Royale Impex, creating a sense of grandeur.”

Neil Cresto (Studio Namah) added, “To complement these natural stones, Studio Namah incorporated gold-finished accents, including kitchen cabinets, furniture legs, and even a dresser in the master bedroom. This combination of rich textures and materials creates a truly luxurious experience.”

A Guided Tour of Luxury

  • Entrance: Royale Impex also helps clients customise their marble pieces using CNC techniques. You can see this in the entrance of the home. The wall is covered in black fluted marble, and the stark white doors provide a dramatic contrast. A bright red painting adds an unexpected flash of colour.
  • Living Room: The custom furniture is set against an exquisite Brazilian stone from the Royale Marble Collection, while a peach couch adds a splash of color to the elegant space. The TV area maintains a monochrome theme, with marble panels and black and white chair upholstery.
  • Kitchen and Dining Area: The black and gold island kitchen aesthetic connects beautifully to the dining area, highlighted by a green exotic stone and a beautiful Patagonia countertop specifically sourced by Royale Impex for this project. A coffee counter with a marble backsplash and hidden doors offers functionality with style.
  • Bedrooms: The focal point of the master bedroom is a pillar covered in gold metal mesh and exotic stone. The room is dominated by monochromatic hues with gold highlights, as seen in the poster bed, the pillar, and the opulent metal dresser. A customised onyx basin counter adds a touch of grandeur to the adjoining grey bathroom.
  • Tailored Comfort: The parents’ room has bright furnishings to counterbalance the muted colours and traditional mouldings that give it a timeless beauty.
  • A Space for Play: The children’s room, designed for a brother-sister duo, is a space for exploration. The open central space and bunk bed with a basketball hoop encourage activity, while the bright and eclectic colour scheme keeps things playful.
  • Artful Passage: The bedroom lobby is designed to resemble an art gallery, with personalised paintings and sculptures set in thoughtfully carved niches. This space adds a touch of refinement and artistic flair.

Creating a Private Oasis:

The design team’s biggest challenge was combining several kinds of marble in one space without making them overpowering one another. The team has used Royale Impex’s diverse marble collection to create a cohesive and visually stunning home.
