New Delhi: Coromandel International Limited Kakinada, as a part of corporate social responsibility, has extended support to complete the construction of a Community Hall at Fisherman Colony, Vakalapudi Panchayat worth of 60 Lakhs out of which 30 lakhs were government funds, and the other 30 lakhs were borne by the Coromandel International Limited. Ex-Minister and MLA, Kakinada Rural Shri. Kursala Kannababuunveiled the inaugural plaque and inaugurated the community hall. Alongside two tractors costing 22lakhs for each sanitation unit of Panchayats, namely Vakalapudi and Valasapakala, were handed over to concerned authorities.

While addressing, Kannababu expressed his gratitude for building an everlasting structure for the community, which will help them lower their expenses in the Functional hall which might cost them above 50 thousand to 1 lakh for private function halls. Sri Kanna Babu requested the community to treasure the building with utmost responsibility. He also acknowledged the other interventions like girl child education, GGH support and Coromandel Hospital for signing up the specialist Doctors and providing affordable services and medicines.

Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Executive vice president- HR, Coromandel International Limited, has expressed his contentment in the CSR activities of the Kakinada Unit and promised to extend their immense support to the development of the community furthermore.

Mr. Ch. Srinivas Rao, Unit head of Coromandel, has shared his experience in constructing the Hall with the best quality building material with the help of the civil unit of Coromandel. In addition to this, he added that the Community Hall of Valasapakala will be completed and inaugurated in this financial year. He thanked the Panchayat authorities, local leaders, and community for their support extended to the Coromandel.

Community elders extended their gratitude by Felicitating the Vice president Dr. Pradeep Kumar, and Unit Head, Ch. Srinivas Rao.
