177k people screened in Delhi’s 242 containment zones, antigen tests from Thursday-delhi news

More than 177,000 people in 242 remote areas of Delhi were screened for symptoms similar to those in Covida between Sunday and Tuesday in 11 district administrations in the capital, senior government officials said.

The investigation was launched by all District Magistrates (DMs) immediately after Union Interior Minister Amit Shah ordered the government in Delhi on Sunday to begin door-to-door searches in all isolation areas to ensure proper follow-up of contacts. The screens will also help the administration to detect more symptoms at these hotspots and prevent new outbreaks of Covida.

While the Union’s Ministry of the Interior (MHA) provided DM 11 a week on Sunday to complete the trial, reports from the Delhi government, to which HT had access, indicated that the investigation was likely to be completed by Thursday.

About 20,000 people were reportedly checked on Sunday when the orders were given. On Monday the number of people in the location areas was increased to 75,000 and on Tuesday more than 82,000 people were interviewed. The goal of the study is to reach 230,466 people currently living in 247 remote areas of Delhi. The report on Wednesday’s investigation was not submitted to the government until after its presentation.

According to a civil servant, Asha [a registered social activist], the survey covered assistant midwives and teachers in public schools under the age of 50.

According to the Delhi government on Wednesday there were 47,102 cases of Covida-19, including 17,457 restorations and 1,904 deaths.

The Government of Delhi updated the number of protected areas in the city to 247 on Wednesday evening.

Delhi will start using rapid antigen detection kits in each district from Thursday, a senior government official said. The screening will now help the district authorities to determine who needs RT-PCR testing and who needs to perform antigen tests.

Rapid tests are done in a mixed way – some symptomatic patients, some lungs and some asymptomatic patients – depending on how close the person is to a positive Covida patient, said a senior official who prefers to remain anonymous.

11 districts will start with 50,000 antigen tests throughout the city on Thursday. According to the aforementioned government official, 169 centres were set up in and around the isolation zones where people could be tested with violence.

Intensified testing in the city comes after the MHA said Monday that testing in Delhi would triple by Saturday. As a result, the government has ordered the 11 districts to collect at least 1000 samples per day. Despite the order, 8,856 samples were collected in all districts on Tuesday and DM was again asked to intensify the tests. With the start of the rapid antigen tests, a multiple scale increase is planned from Thursday.

Chief Governor Anil Bayjal chaired Wednesday’s meeting, in which he asked the Delhi government’s advisory committee to take steps to improve deterrence strategies and recommend further mitigation strategies.

Bayal also proposed that the group should develop psychosocial support measures for primary care workers, strategies for the rapid expansion of intensive care and a revision of the Delhi prognosis in line with global trends.

Forced entry by a single chain of command

To ensure that all deterrence strategies are implemented by a single chain of command, the Government of Delhi has also issued a decree appointing all MDs as heads of administration in their respective districts. This means that now each of the Assistant Police Commissioners (MPs), the Deputy Civilian Commissioners and the Hospital Chiefs of all hospitals are accountable to the DM, regardless of function and seniority.

After the move, the Delhi police commissioner, S.N. Shrivastawa, issued an order ordering all police officers to ensure strict isolation in the containment areas.

Perimeter security and access control must be strictly adhered to. The input/output must be fully sealed, with the exception of basic goods/services. Mobile patrols should be carried out regularly. Drone surveillance and announcement are complete, all right.

Rahul Singh said he met with all the departments in his jurisdiction on Wednesday.

It was agreed that all clinics in the district should serve as a single point of contact for all matters relating to the Covida. The tests are carried out in all pharmacies. On Thursdays and after, antigen and RT-PCR tests are available for everyone in all pharmacies. The samples are collected in these clinics and the report is sent as soon as it comes out of the laboratories, according to Singh.

The West demilitarised the Neha Bansal and investigated all outbreaks in the restricted areas in accordance with the instructions of the Union Minister of the Interior. From Thursday we will start with express tests for residents with new antigen sets. We’ve also expanded RT-PCR testing in the district. On Wednesday, more than 1,800 RT-PCR tests were conducted under the jurisdiction of the district.

Of the city’s 247 restricted areas, North Delhi has the largest number of restricted areas with 36, followed by 34 in the southern district. Although northeast Delhi is the most densely populated area of the city, according to government reports there are only three isolated areas.daily covid test in india, covid containment zones, corona testing kit, corona test kit
